A radiologic technologist (also called medical radiation technologist, radiation science technologist, or radiographer) performs imaging of the human body for diagnosis or treating medical problems. Specialty areas include x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, CT, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, mammography, angiography, and cardiovascular interventional radiology.
